After a twenty five year career in dentistry and commuting over two hours a day, I really wanted to put my energies into something I have always loved…and that is caring for animals. All Creatures Great and Small is bonded and insured, and we are certified in pet first aid. We also are a member of Pet Sitters International, an organization strictly for professional pet sitters.

I think what makes my business unique is that I meet one on one with you, the owner, and your pets, getting to know you, and if your pet requires any additional attention, such as medicine or subcutaneous fluids, as this is common in older animals who are renally compromised.

We provide daily walks for pets whose owners work long hours and can’t make it home directly after work. And, we are not just about dogs…we care for cats, rabbits, fish, hamsters…you get the picture!

We have the “Daily Log” (a small daily report) on how your pet did during the visit. We also take photos and send them… just to let you know all is well. In addition, we also check clients plane flights and touch base before bringing your pet home. Which brings me to another point: All Creatures Great and Small provides a “Pet Taxi” for boarding and vet visits. We all know how hectic it can be prior to leaving for vacation, and having your pet picked up and brought home is just one less thing for you to consider.

We also work with seniors who are on a fixed income and individuals who are homebound. Having a pet has been shown to reduce anxiety, blood pressure, etc., As I state in our brochure, people, like animals, just want companionship.

For myself, taking care of animals is a very natural thing – from rescuing baby birds, bunnies, dogs, cats, chipmunks, and squirrels, (yes, squirrels) I am happy to make this “my career”.
